This event is a wonderful opportunity to cruise the Derwent and check out the iconic Hobart sights from the water. A spectator boat to watch the marathon will be arranged if there is sufficient interest. Likely cost (including morning tea and lunch on Saturday) is $120 per person. This will be invoiced when spectator numbers are confirmed.
Please email email@example.com if you want a seat on the spectator boat.
Fitness information and Risk Waiver Form
The marathon is a long-distance event and paddlers need to be sufficiently fit to paddle the entire 40 km course.
Please read the Risk Waiver Form attached to this invitation. When you register you will be asked to declare that you have read and accepted its terms and conditions.
Register on line
The boat fleet is limited and priority will be given to crews of 16+ paddlers. Composite crews welcome. Smaller groups can register and will be topped up with individuals to form a crew.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
